Washington Times hires YouTube journalism contest finalist

The Washington Times is employing self-taught freelance journalist Torrey Meeks, who was a semi-finalist in YouTube's first journalism competition Project: Report. You can view his entry here or click on video above.

The reporter will be the Times correspondent in the south west, offering multimedia content that focuses on the U.S.-Mexico border issues.
