On TV: Botox. Face-lifts. Reconstructive surgery.

The Los Angeles Times on what television is doing to its actresses. And are we (TV critics) supposed to pretend we don't notice?

It's the new -- and wrinkle-free! -- elephant in the living room. Despite a tacit understanding that actors nowadays start lifting and injecting on their 21st birthday, mentioning an inexplicable altered appearance remains strangely taboo.
