Dailymotion gives TV buyers sneak peek

French file-sharing Web site Dailymotion has announced new video-sharing content deal with Gallic TV program exporter TV France International. The Hollywood Reporter reports.

"The programs will be available free of charge in a private section of Dailymotion's site accessible only through TVFI's Web site for international buyers accredited by the organization.

More than 800 titles from last year's TVFI Rendez-Vous in Biarritz already are available on the shared site as of Monday and more will be gradually added by Gallic sales companies.

"This partnership offers a unique tool to foreign professionals who can now access French program offerings anytime and any place. The idea is to save time. We're basically making the Rendez-Vous video library available 24/7 through online screenings," TVFI boss Mathieu Bejot told The Hollywood Reporter. "Our goal is to reach 4,000 titles by fall in time for Mipcom 2008."

TVFI's member companies also can add their own content to a TVFI -branded space on Dailymotion's public server including trailers, clips or full episodes of their series. "
