"The New York Times is launching a blog about the television business that will be written by one of the TV industry's most influential bloggers, highlighting the established media's increasing reliance on less traditional ways of delivering the news. Reuters reports.

The Times said that 22-year-old Brian Stelter is lead writer on TV Decoder, the Times's new blog on the TV industry that launched on Thursday.

The blog will feature other contributors, Stelter said in an interview. He said he aims to personally post five times a day and that his postings would include breaking news."
