"Dexter"s Death Threat Video Campaign
Showtime is promoting their hit series Dexter with a website that enables viewers to send personalized death threat videos to their friends/enemies.
For those of you who haven't watched Dexter's premier season, Dexter is a forensic scientist with the Miami Police, with an expertise in blood splatter. He's also a serial killer on the side.
This campaign is clearly in line with the spirit of the series, but as I mention every time I blog anything related to Dexter, I really worry about what this says about all of us who enjoy this show so much and how our form of entertainment is perceived in other parts of the world.
