Dailymotion Officially Launches In U.S.

dailymotion.jpeg French based Dailymotion, an independent video sharing site has launched a U.S. version of their site, reports WebPro News. "The U.S. site launches with the MotionMaker program that identifies and rewards contributors to the Dailymotion community.

Dailymotion says they have monetization strategies for content partners and the site itself. The monetization programs for content partners include banner and in-video advertising, which will allow advertisers to reach users at a local level. Advertisers can reach online users by using contextual in-stream ads and niche behavioral targeting through channels."
