TV-Helmet

019uiok8.jpg prot1b.jpg

Walter Pichler figured out forty years ago that there could be more ways than one to watch TV.

His TV Helmet (left) and Small Room (right) thematized new media such as TV and telecommunications.

They are both pieces from a series of sculptures Pichler made in the '60s, exploring the overlap of architecture/design/sculpture.
