UK Riots. Teenage girl charged with BlackBerry incitement

A teenager from Essex has been charged with using the instant messaging service BlackBerry Messenger to encourage others to take part in riots. She allegedly sent a message on BBM on Monday Aug 8 encouraging friends in the seaside town to copy scenes of violence and looting that were spreading across England.
