‘The Guardian's app has been downloaded almost 70,000 times (68,979 to be exact) since it launched in December

It was downloaded 9,000 times in the first two days.

The way mocoNews figures it out, that could come out to $3.2 million a year. OK, this is before Apple’s 30 percent commission comes off, and ignores currency differences...
