Washable cell phone to launch at CES
Seal Shield, a Florida-based company will introduce what it calls the world’s first washable and antimicrobial cell phone this week at CES in Las Vegas. Business Jacksonville.com reports.
According to the company, the electronics are sealed in patented rubber and silicone gasket that can expand and contract while still intact. That allows the devices to not only be soaked in high-strength liquid, but endure the heat of a dishwasher.
Seal Shield already makes a line of washable keyboards and mice. Last year, it introduced two washable TV remotes.
