EBay Translates the Auction Experience to Cellphones

EBay’s iPhone application, which has been downloaded 5.5 million times, quickly filters the site’s 200 million items based on keywords so that shoppers do not have to shuffle through page after page. It sends an alert to the phone if a shopper gets outbid in an auction. And PayPal members can check out with just a few clicks, without having to type in their shipping and billing information, just like they can on the regular eBay site.quotesmarksleft.jpg
