Cell phones not immune to 'robocalls'

Now this is bad news. According to The Statesman, US cell phones are not immune from "robocalls".

The federal government has banned business telemarketing calls to cell phones. But an exemption in the law lets political candidates make calls to both land lines and cell phones.

And more advanced data-mining technology is making it easier for commercial data brokers to comb the Internet for cell phone numbers.
