SMS opens public restroom doors in Copenhagen
According to The Copenhagen Post Online, four public restrooms in Copenhagen have been fitted with technology that enables customers to pay with their cell phones, by text message.
The new SMS service provides a more flexible alternative for the users. We’re looking forward to seeing whether or not it becomes popular in Copenhagen. A success could lead to more SMS toilets being built around town.’ Claus Robl, division manager of the city’s technical and environmental department.
