Texting Record: 217,000 SMS sent in one month

Two Pennsylvania pals, 29-year-old Nick Andes and 30-year-old Doug Klinger, set a text-messaging record with 217,000 text messages sent in one month. That's 7,000 SMS a day, or 583 SMS an hour. The Post Chronicle reports.

Nick and Doug were surprised by a whopping $26,000 phone bill because they were relying on their "unlimited texting' plan. T-Mobile is reportedly investigating the charges.
