SMS delivers death threat to Kenya PM
Kenyan police are on high alert over a suspected terror plot targeting Prime Minster Raila Odinga for backing the US 'war on terror'. PressTV reports.
Raila, considered as a supporter of the US and its African policies, received threats in mobile text messages from an anonymous sender.
The SMS read ""I am looking for the slightest opportunity to assassinate you. Just like John F. Kennedy, Yitzhak Rabin, Laurent Kabila etc. You will join the statistics. Be careful."
Kenyan authorities say they have launched investigations in order to find the sender of the alarming message.
