Radar Cell Phone App Capts News Happening Around You
Radar is a brand new iPhone application that uses the devices’ GPS capabilities to locate you and display nearby news, blog posts, discussion threads, and tweets happening within 1,000 feet of your location. [via Mashable]
Find restaurants, dive into real estate gossip, get the insider view of local schools, track nearby crimes—radar shows you everything that’s happening right around the corner.
... radar is U.S.-only for the time being - funny though, I was able to download it from Switzerland anyway- but I get a message "Unable to Update Information" when I click on the icon.
