Omniture to Measure iPhone Apps

Omniture SiteCatalyst is now measuring iPhone app usage. With the App Measurement, advertisers will have insight into ad clicks, page views, and purchases. Editor & Publisher reports.

"Applying analytics to mobile application use is a relatively new area that provides feedback to application developers and marketers," Bill Gassman, research director of Gartner, said in a statement. "This will influence the future design of mobile applications and provide a better customer experience."

App Measurement for iPhone is available for Omniture customers.
