CancerTXT
GoIP Global has announced the beta launch of CancerTXT, a text messaging service. TMCnet reports.
"CancerTXT enables cancer patients and family members to access basic real time information and references. By paying just $4.95 monthly membership fee, consumers can join CancerTXT and can send unlimited text questions over their cell phones and receive an immediate response from a trained social worker.
"This new mobile messaging service will change the way patients and family members can access essential information,” said Moshe Gluzman, GoIP's Health Director.
Initial market studies estimate that nearly 100,000 members will register nationwide by the end of 2009."
