SMS firing triggers suicide. Union faces payout

A man committed suicide the day after being fired by SMS, an Australian court has heard, reports Scopical.au. While Tony Cecere was suffering from some other mental aguish - including separation from his children - the court agreed that the SMS pushed him over the edge.

His family is now expected to receive a payment of up to $300,000 following the suicide death.
