Robber Holds up Bank while on Cell Phone

The Mobile Police Department hopes an image taken from a security camera will help in the arrest of a bank robber. WKRG reports.

The First Community Bank on Cottage Hill Road was robbed Monday around 4:20 p.m. Officers say the man walked in with a gun and his cellphone. He pointed the gun and demanded money from the teller. An image from the bank's security camera shows the man talking on his phone.

That reminds me of the Woman Cell Phone Bandit who robbed four banks in suburban Virginia in 2005 while talking on a cell phone.
