BA sends over 11,000 SMS apologies

nheathrow130-1.jpg British Airways sent out over 11,000 SMSs in the week following the opening of its new Terminal 5, reports New Media Age.

" Its SMS traffic, which is managed by Incentivated rocketed as the terminal was hit by a series of troubles which resulted in hundreds of cancelled and delayed flights.

BA regularly uses the service, which is delivered in multiple languages to passengers globally, to remind passengers to check-in online, provide flight updates and to support its cargo business."
