Spotted on Trendhunter, a device for sending text messages while diving.

The underwater SMS device is mounted onto the user’s arm and allows for communication not only with the rest of the underwater team, but with those on boats above or waiting on land.

It’s called the UDI which stands for Underwater Digital Interface.

The revolutionary UDI device combines world-first two-way digital messaging technology, SOS and homing capabilities, a state-of-the-art dive computer and 3D compass – for a complete underwater system that let’s you share, connect and stay safe.
