Hello Kitty Cell Phone Strap Halts Trains

The Japanese press reported that a train was brought to a halt on the Osaka loop line last night around 7:55PM, after the warning lights indicated that the train’s doors were not closing properly.

The source of the problem was a small Hello Kitty charm, which had become detached from a cell phone strap and jammed itself between the doors.
