iPhone goes for $100,000 at charity auction

At a Keep a child Alive auction, an anonymous bidder pledged a whopping $100,000 for an iPhone. Reportedly, the pricey handset will be "personalized with a voice mail greeting and presented by Alicia Keys.

Alicia Keys, Iman, Liv Tyler and Jessica Alba lined up in front of the Apple store on Prince Street in NYC, to buy the first iPhone and raise awareness about AIDS in Africa. They also raised funds by selling ad space on their t-shirts.

Keep a child Alive is a charitable organization that gets anti-retroviral treatment to children infected with AIDS in Africa
