Air France trials text messaging on board
Like Qantas Airlines, Air France customers flying on the Airbus A318 will be able to send text messages and emails from their cellphones starting July in a trial run, reports Gizmodo.
But QANTAS airline passengers will be able to use their mobile phones thanks to a system on board that resembles a mobile phone base station which does not interfere with cellular networks on the ground.
