Surfboard Phone

surfboardphone.gif A patent has been filed for a surfboard phone. Now why didn't anyone think of that before? [via IOL]

This novelty cell phone is shaped as a surfboard that can be left standing upright while watching video clips, listen to MP3 sound tracks or talk hands free. The upper deck side of the board contains a recessed LCD screen and a keypad with protruding neoprene buttons.

The tail end of the phone body is padded with neoprene to prevent it from slipping on a desk surface.

... Furthermore, with the fins retracted flush against the phone body, the pointed nose makes it easier to slide the phone into a tight trouser pocket."
