PDA with detachable mobile phone
IOL writes up a patent for a PDA with detachable mobile phone.
"This handheld electronic device contains all the functions of a conventional PDA with the inclusion of a detachable mobile phone.
The small mobile phone device is housed in a recess provided on the back panel of the PDA. The recess is equipped with a mechanical link to keep the phone docked and an electrical connection by which data on the PDA can be synchronized with that of the detachable phone.
Once detached, the small handheld mobile phone is powered by its own internal battery."
