Nokia Tags on Hangers in UK Streetwear Brand Store
![]()
Nokia advertising tags for mobile phones on the hangers of some t-shirts in London's Bond International (streetwear brand) store.
Jan Chipchase on future perfect - where this tag was spotted - calls it a jarring intrusion, but I think it's clever. It's cross marketing, and Jan, it's Nokia.
I just called the store in London but was unable to speak to a manager, he'll be back tomorrow, I was wondering what the philosophy behind the campaign was and what was printed on the other side of the tag (a price?). According to the sales clerk, it's simply the Nokia UK URL, "www.nokia.co.uk" and he confirmed the t-shirts where the tag is hanging from, are not Nokia branded.
Will get back to you tomorrow if I find out more.
