BluRing Links iPod To Cell Phone
South Korean icube Corp. "will begin marketing a Bluetooth peripheral called BluRingon March 8 that links the Apple Inc.'s iPod to a cell phone so calls can be received while listening to music without the need to take out the phone". Nikkeii.net reports.
"The BluRing consists of a remote-control unit with a built-in microphone and a special earphone connection to the iPod. When a call is placed to the phone, the ringtone plays in the earphone. The remote, which can be used to select songs and adjust volume on the iPod, can also be used to accept the call and carry on a conversation."
