British Snowboarder saved by light from his mobile

Sky News reports that a British snowboarder, buried alive by an avalanche in the French Alps, has been saved by the light from his mobile phone.

"Tapped at almost 5,000ft he managed to phone a friend who raised the alarm. But as darkness fell he still had not been found.

His would-be rescuers rang him and told him to use the light from his mobile to guide the helicopter in."
