A waterproof cordless phone

01phone.190.jpg Another waterproof phone, not a cell phone though, but a landline.

The new WXI477, available at unidendirect.com, comes in a yellow and black color is submersible — for depths up to three feet.

According to The New York Times, "the 5.8-gigahertz cordless phone is completely sealed, so you can safely make calls from the pool, or if you really feel the need, the shower. The handset’s cradle recharges it by magnetic induction, so there are no exposed metal parts.

Water resistance isn’t the phone’s only feature. It has a 100-name phone book, caller ID with a 100-number memory and 20 ring tones that can be assigned to your contacts so you know right away who is calling."
