Text message could be regulated in college basketball
Times are changing for US college basketball scouts. Until now, they used to text high school basketball wiz' kids to connect to them via this popular way. But at the NCAA Convention starting today through Monday at Orlando, discussions will be held on "whether and how the NCAA should rein in the currently unrestricted use of text messaging by recruiters who use the modern technology to skirt restrictions on telephone calls to prospects," says Fox sports journalist Ben Maller.
