di-di-di-dah-dah-dah-di-di-dit(SOS!), the Morse Code is in distress

di-di-di-dah-dah-dah-di-di-dit (SOS!) , the Morse Code is in distress reports IHT-
"The American amateur radio community has been shaken by news that the U.S. government will no longer require Morse Code proficiency as a condition for an amateur, or ham, license.
