Another record for sent text message on New Year's Eve

A bunch of records before 2007. From December 31st to January 1st, Airwide Solutions, a provider of mobile messaging infrastructure, anticipates Europe to send some 200 million text messages, some 125 million SMS for the US, China (in fact Beijing and Shanghai only) to send 400 million of them, or over 65 million in Switzerland. Swedish telecoms company Telia also confirmed the trend in their country, reported Cellular News.
