Mobility Beat: A digg like website for mobile technology. Yay!

ZDNet's Mobile Gadgeteer blog writes up Mobility Beat, a new digg-like community powered website about mobile devices and technology.

Just like digg, members can add, comment and vote for articles. The most popular stories are promoted to the homepage.

This is good news, digg is not cellcentric enough for anyone following mobile phone news as there is no specific cell phone category (though I did ask) and sifting through the technology submissions is very time consuming and rarely rewarding.

One request to Mobility Beat if anyone is listening, could you add a "Cell Phone Usage" or "Social impact" category?. Cell phones are changing our world in so many ways. There's so much more to cell phone news than the latest models and new software.
