Kati Kim and children found. Cell phone tracing helped. James Kim still missing

james_kim_sm.jpg Engadget reports that Kati Kim and the Kim children (Sabine and Penelope) were just found alive in Oregon; they apparently flagged down a search and rescue helicopter that was hunting for the missing family.

The search is still on for James Kim, however who lef this family in their stranded car two days ago in search of help. CNET editor James Kim and his family have been missing in Oregon for the last 9 days.

According to The San Francisco Chronicle searchers had tracked the family to the Bear Camp area by tracing signals from a cell phone the Kims were carrying. The Kims were not able to make a call, but their attempt was enough to narrow the search area.
