"After placing billboards and hoardings all over the Chennai (South India) asking motorists not to use mobile phones while driving, the Chennai City Traffic Police came up a unique idea.
Today, as many as 6,400 student volunteers of Road Safety Patrol from about 400 schools were deployed at all important traffic signals across the city from 9 am to 11 am."
