Digital Directions

Tokyo Electric Power, together with Shibuya ward, is introducing Japan's first digital street maps. Following a test period, the full system is due to be rolled out in two weeks time.

The boards use Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean and can transmit data to mobile telephones.
