Yahoo Beta Launches Sponsored Search On Mobiles

Yahoo has launched a beta version of sponsored search results on the company’s Mobile Web service in the United States, according to Moco News.

“Initially, one sponsored search result will be displayed at the top of the search results page and a second one will be displayed lower down in the search results page. However, Yahoo intends to test the location of such listings and the placements are likely to change over time”.

Yahoo is also testing graphical ads that allow consumers to take action in its mobile web service in the US, UK, India and Japan, with plans to expand the tests over the coming months".
