Yahoo advertisements to appear on cell phones

Yahoo said Wednesday that its Internet search ads would appear on mobile phones as part of an agreement with the U.S. online directory service Go2 Directory Systems, reports the IHT.

"Yahoo advertisers would be able to reach mobile phone customers using Go2 to search for local products and services like movie listings, the companies said. Advertisers would pay each time ads are clicked on and the companies would share the revenue."
