Reuters Beta Mobile Site

Reuters has released a new free beta version of their mobile news service..

For Top News, Text "TOP to 2KNOW" (25669 for important stories making headlines in the US and around the world. Approx. 3-5 alerts per week. Or type http://mobile.reuters.com into the web browser on any Internet-enabled mobile device.

Reuters delivers the latest breaking news and business developments, as well as all the biggest entertainment, sports and human-interest stories, both nationally and from around the world, to your mobile phone

The beta site will go into production within a month or so and will be located at their current production's URL, http://mobile.reuters.com.

Also of interest, Reuters is selling award winning Reuters photography as downloadable wallpaperand offering for free, two versions of a ringtones (poly and true) "to assign to your alerts so you'll know when an important news event happens".
