Man's 32,000 sex mobile messages

A man in the UK randomly sent around 32,000 sexually explicit mobile phone messages - many to children, reports the BBC.

"The prosecution said Roberts sent the pornographic images to randomly selected numbers using the latest generation of mobile phones.

These included 1,500 messages which were sent to children.

The calls or attempted calls were made over an eight-month period last year at the rate of about 1,000 a week.

... Defending, Daniel Travers, said Roberts deeply regretted his actions, on which he had spent about £25,000."
