Hotel in Chicago offers to lock away mobile devices
Rick Ueno, the general manager of the Sheraton Chicago Hotel offers to put communications devices under lock and key for guests who want a break, reports CNN via boingboing.
"Ueno said the program that began on Wednesday grew out of his own personal BlackBerry addiction and obsession with e-mail. His one-step recovery was switching to a regular cell phone.
He believes guests might want to try the same thing, for a day or two anyway, so they can concentrate on meetings, business and socializing while at the hotel."
