Adiuvo: the deaf-tech blog
A new tech blog worth mentioning and bookmarking, Adiuvo: the deaf-tech blog, written by Kathryn Hill from California. Adiuvo is a blog that covers assistive technology for the deaf and hard of hearing.
In a post dated May 6, Hill writes about rear window captioning (RWC) - an ingenious technology that provides closed captioning to deaf or hard-of-hearing movie theater patrons in a way that is more economical than open captioning or subtitling, has zero impact on the film print and is less intrusive to the experience of the general theater audience.
