Send an SMS to the Queen of the Netherlands

Tomorrow is Queensday, one of Netherlands most popular festive days. The Dutch celebrate the birthday of their Queen mum and dress up in orange.

In cooperation with the City of Almere, Emexus is organizing a number of mobile services around the visit of Queen Beatrix to Almere. For the first time it is possible to personally congratulate the Queen via SMS and download short videos on the festivities onto mobile phones, as well as ringtones and wallpapers.

All SMS congratulations will be shown on the Queensday website and projected on a big video wall in the city. At the end of the day all messages will be bundled and presented to Her Majesty the Queen.
