BlueTouch
BlueTouch is software for entertainment in public places developed by Arteficina/ and Dromedian.
Two totem prototypes will be installed at the end of April in a "trendy" live-bar-discotheque in Rome - where Deejay and performers will interact with users, using a portable PC and Wi-Fi connection to the totem, sending to their phones videos, games and other via Bluetooth and immediately to hundreds of people.
How does it work?
Bluetouch scans for all the Bluetooth-enabled devices in its range of action. It adds them to its database, sends a request for connection and, if the the request is approved by the user, it sends the content to their device. The database keeps track of any activity so the user never gets the same content twice.
The campaign can be managed directly and autonomously by the client.bluetouch is proposed through a totem fitted with an LCD screen.
The "totem" can be adapted to an existing structures. At the end of the campaign it's possible to view detailed statistics of its results. the sytem has been developed in the respect of privacy.
Possible applications are: publicity (launch of new products, theater programmes, etc.), entertainment (games, video, ringtones, screensavers), business (sending information to users). (Thanks Régine for sending link and translating from Italian).
