02 recalls overheating mobile phones

Thousands of mobile phones are being recalled amid fears they may overheat while charging, reports The Glasgow Evening Times Online.

"Mobile phone giant O2 has announced it is recalling 28,000 of its X1 handsets (a model discontinued two years ago). The move comes after three incidents in the UK over the past few months in which the phones overheated. "
