SMS to Check Halal Food

This is a cool new SMS service.

"Muslims can now get confirmation on the halal status of a product - (food that is permissible according to Islamic law) - via SMS thanks to the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia. "They only need to type the word "halal" and enter the product's bar code and send it to 32728." [via Slashphone].
