Samsung researcher held for attempted tech leak
According to The Korea Herald, an employee of Samsung Electronics has been arrested for attempting to leak cutting-edge mobile phone technology to a firm in Kazakhstan.
"The prosecution said the 34 year-old senior Samsung researcher printed 15 pages of circuit diagrams for Samsung's latest "slim mobile phone" and a phone with an internal antenna.
He then smuggled them out of the office to deliver them to a prominent information technology firm in Kazakhstan. A prosecutor said the copies of the circuit diagrams were intercepted before they were sent to the Kazakhstani firm. "
