Vodafone Japan Adopts Ethical Shopping

Vodafone Japan has announce its implementation of Vodafone Group's Code of Ethical Purchasing with its main suppliers starting mid-February 2006, reports Cellular News.

"First implemented for global suppliers in 2004, the CEP covers 10 areas including child labour, forced labour, health and safety, freedom of association, working hours, payment, discrimination, individual conduct and the environment."
